Funky, soulful, and supernatural are all words that come to mind when describing SomeOthaShip Connect artist Quazedelic a.k.a. Stan Sly and his unparalleled, out of this universe sound. Having already collaborated with the likes of Bootsy Collins, and Lenny Kravitz, and being a protégé of the P-Funk legend himself, George Clinton, Quaze exits Clinton’s mothership and boards SomeOthaShip to bring us “Viva Las Vegas,” a song from his properly titled and most recent project, AnuthaWorld. Complete with swinging drums, airy synthesizers, sporadic pianos, and a bassline that absolutely reeks of funk, “Viva Las Vegas” is a story telling track expressing the highs and lows of a visit to Las Vegas, as Quaze croons during the hook, “Viva Las Vegas, I tried my luck, now I’m a winner again/ Viva Las Vegas, I lost my faith now I’m a sinner again.”
